There is nothing sweeter than being able to meet clients who are expecting for their maternity session to capture their excitement and anticipation of their new arrival then getting to meet their sweet bundle of joy just a few weeks later and witness first hand how much their hearts grew.
I met Lauren and David last year at their maternity session. It was right around Christmas time and Lauren brought the prettiest scarves to wear. I was so excited at their session because we found the prettiest tree with orange and red leaves which is rare to see in Louisiana. At the time, they didn’t know what they were having but if I remember correctly….I think we were speculating a girl 🙂
Caroline 3 weeks
And a sweet baby girl it was!! Her first few weeks on this earth were filled with lots of visitors so we pushed her session back until she was about 3 weeks old. By then she had developed quite a little personality and enjoyed being stretched out with her arms up….she also loooooved being swaddled. So thats what we did.
When Lauren sent me a picture of her sweet baby, I knew this color was a must. I’m so in love with how it turned out!
The second she was unwrapped her arms went up by her face! So naturally I had to get a photo of her in her favorite position.
Lauren’s one request was a bucket shot. It is definitely a favorite of mine because they look so tiny, and really how long do they actually fit in a bucket. It is a hard pose to do even with a 7 day old so I knew it was going to be a challenge. I had to try several times with her but I was not giving up and I’m so glad I didn’t! It is my favorite shot of her session.
Last but not least, we did family photos. At this point she was wide awake, but it worked out perfectly because one look at mom and dad and when she heard the sound of Lauren’s voice she gave the biggest smile. It was so sweet!
Isn’t that the sweetest?! How lucky am I to get to experience such special times with my client?! Caroline is just precious and the perfect addition to their family.
