Slidell maternity photographer {Cassandra}
I’ve been chatting back and forth with this momma-to-be for a few months now planning her maternity session. I always get excited to meet my new clients. I knew she was wearing a teal maternity gown and could not wait to see it on her.
It had been raining for quite a few days prior to her session but the day of her session was beautiful. I hadn’t been to Fontainebleau State Park for a session in quite some time and forgot about how sloppy it is after a rain. I wish I would’ve thought about that because rain boots would have come in handy lol. But Cassandra was a trooper and stomped through mud to get to my favorite locations. Luckily the sun was shining and you would never have known. I’m grateful for understanding clients who help me create the images I love. She is so photogenic and looked so beautiful.
We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful evening. It was cool but not too cold, no bugs yet (you know that is rare in Louisiana) and the sun was glowing. The setting sun behind the big oak trees was the perfect backdrop for this gorgeous momma.
My favorite spot is in such a low lying area and always holds water. Cassandra was so sweet to walk through the mud and stand in the water so I can get this shot. I hope she loves it just as much as I do. I think it’s my favorite from the evening.
I enjoyed meeting this adorable couple and cannot wait to meet their baby boy in just a few short weeks!
