This was the sweetest little newborn session! River joined his family at just 4 days old. He was sooooo teeny tiny at a little over 4 lbs and had such a big personality already! I got soooo many big smiles from this sweet guy.

I adore his name! I don’t think I have every photographed a River before. It is so sweet. His momma’s one request was froggy pose so we did that first. He went right in it! The colors in his session are some of my favorites. All neutral with a touch of blue…..so sweet for a baby boy.
He was so little but had the best rolls! Especially snuggled up to this pillow from Lavender and Moss.
I always have one set up that is extra special to me. Many times it’s a pose I don’t often do or props that I love. I love this little bed but don’t use it for every session and I couldn’t wait to use it with these beautiful knits from Maple Cottage Props. The second I got him posed he started smiling SO big! It was SO cute! Definitely my favorite image from the session.
Last but not least I wrapped him up and he was equally has happy. He continued to smile and his momma and I melted every time.
