New Orleans Maternity Photographer {Kevin}
This GORGEOUS momma was one of my favorite maternity sessions two years ago.
And her daughter, Mason, was one of my favorite newborn sessions.
I was so excited to find out she was expecting again. Can you see why?!
The day of her session, there was zero rain in the forecast. As a photographer, I am constantly watching the weather. Every single cloud in the sky. You would think by 2019 it would be a little more accurate. The day started off ok but by 11am it started to rain. And not just a little rain, a huge downpour. It kept raining and raining and it didn’t look like it was going anywhere. So at 1pm I messaged her just to give a heads up.
She had already gotten her hair done so there was no rescheduling. Luckily we were going to downtown Covington which has lots of covered areas. My plan was to take my daughter, Mattie, with me to hold the umbrella.
Her session was for 6. It just kept raining and raining and finally around 5:45 it just stopped. Can you believe it?

I couldn’t get over how big Mason had gotten and how much personality she had. She was soooooo adorable!!!
Kevin always has the most beautiful dresses for her shoots. She always looks like she stepped right out of a magazine. I love this golden yellow on her.
I think my favorite had to be Mason in this pretty peach dress that matches her momma. That look she gave me! LOL! I bet she gives that look whenever she wants something making it impossible to tell that sweet face no!
Such a beautiful family I always enjoy photographing. I know they can’t wait to meet their sweet BOY in just a few short weeks.
