New Orleans newborn photographer {Royal Day 17}

I know I’v e said this before, but I get the most beautiful babies in the studio. Such gorgeous little people that come my way and Royal was no exception. He had the SILKIEST black hair. He was so precious sound asleep but even more adorable when he was awake. What an expressive little baby! The little forehead wrinkles and big wide eyes were just too much. His session started off with him awake and ended with him peeking. He did not want to miss a thing.

Royal Day 17

I have met hundreds maybe thousands of babies over the years. He was my first named Royal. It was such a fitting name for this sweet boy

I mean is that not the sweetest little face?! And the most precious little lips. Just new baby perfection! When he finally went to sleep he was happiest wrapped up. So that’s how we kept him.

But Royal didn’t want to miss a thing. Those little eyelids were heavy but kept popping open. Clearly all of my sleepy newborn tactics did not work on this guy. But maybe for the best? Because how precious is this little face???? He is going to be so handsome when he grows up. I can see it now. It’s funny that when newborns are awake, even at just 17 days old, you can kind of get a glimpse into what they will look like when they are older.
