Louisiana weather this time of year is so unpredictable. It is winter one day, summer the next. Never do we have anything close to spring or fall. We will have weeks of rain and fog and then out of nowhere a day of sunshine. Luckily, that one day of sunshine fell on the day of Rucha’s maternity session.
My jaw dropped when this sweet momma-to-be stepped out of the car. Rucha looked absolutely amazing in her blush pink gown. She looked like a princess with the cutest little belly. Her beautiful dress told me right away they were expecting a sweet baby girl.
Rucha 35 weeks
Isn’t she absolutely stunning?! She looks like she stepped right out of a magazine and in front of my camera. I love how you can see the love on her face that she already has for her precious baby.
If you are a photographer, you know that we are always chasing light. The sun never sets in the same spot and it is always being filtered by a different tree. Well of course with all of the rain, the most perfect spot was completely under water. We spent most of the session hopping around puddles when Rucha told me that she didn’t mind doing whatever it took to get the perfect shot, even if it meant getting a little dirty. So this beautiful mother-to-be and her sweet husband in their nice shoes trucked through about 3 inches of mud sprinkled with new sprouts of grass so I could get this photo…..And I am so glad they did. There is nothing sweeter than a sun-drenched couple in love with each other and their growing baby. What a great story to tell their little one one day!
The very next day it rained again….. This was such a sweet session. I am so lucky to be apart of the sweet beginnings of my clients family’s.
