Another precious baby boy in the studio. I’ve been fortunate to have this family come to me several times for two pregnancies. Megan is the most beautiful expecting mother. And her maternity session this time was extra sweet because she had Evelyn by her side.
I had just started editing her maternity session when I got the message that Erik had arrived. I think it was literally days after we met. I was so surprised! It just meant that I got to see his sweet little face a little sooner.
He arrived wide awake and gave me a full stare down for a little while. It was worth it because he had the cutest little facial expressions. Babies look so different when they are awake.
His big sister was here for her newborn session a little over a year ago so I thought it would be sweet to put them in the same basket. He even gave me a little grin.
Once he was wrapped and cozy he was happy, just as all babies are.
I love that Megan chose all neutrals for his session. I did a variety of them and every set up was my favorite.
Miss Evelyn was not so sure about her baby brother. I had to sneak a few fruit snacks under his wrapped. She loved those and was happy to eat them up.
Last but not least the sweetest of family photos. I love getting to photograph a family with their newest members.
Such a beautiful little family. Megan always choses the most precious outfits for her and now Evelyn and they all looked so beautiful and so happy. It is such an honor being a part of watching this little family grow.
