It was such a gorgeous evening for this momma’s maternity session. We were a little nervous because it looked like rain. But here in southern Louisiana you really can’t predict the weather. They will say 70% chance and it will look like this….
It was absolutely beautiful just like this sweet momma. The weather was just the right temperature and the sun set the sky on fire. The *only* problem was the mosquitos! I cannot believe they are ALREADY out here in Louisiana. The temperatures have been relatively cool. Poor momma was shooing them away all evening. But she still looked absolutely perfect and was practically glowing from happiness in the warm sun light.
Aren’t these two just the cutest?? I love seeing the emotion between a husband and wife as they anticipate the birth of their first baby! It is such a special time.

The oak trees at Fontainebleau State Park in Mandeville make the most beautiful backdrops. While I am jealous of the wildflowers blooming right now in California, these amazing trees are here year round for us to enjoy their beauty. I wish this were my back yard.
