This was the sweetest first baby’s first birthday photo shoot in Covington, LA. Well, you know I’m behind with blogging when this was Launi’s one year session and she is about to turn TWO! I can’t even believe how fast the years are going with this sweet girl. It seems like yesterday she was just born. She has a fire-y spirit and keeps us on our toes. She ADORES Harley and Harley adores her and she had her first sleep over at our house and Harley was in heaven.
I could not wait to do her first birthday photos of her in this beautiful dress. It is from the 1930’s and is so delicate and the prettiest shade of blue. And we incorporated fresh cut hydrangeas from my garden. They were growing so well last year! This year everything is struggling with this drought.

Look at those little teeth! This girl has the BEST smile! She is always so happy….until she’s not lol. This session was much easier than her next one. She quickly picked up the speed and wouldn’t sit still.
I mean look at that cheesy grin! How can you not smile. We finished her session with a tiny cake to smash. Some babies don’t like it at all…. not this girl. She went nuts! Was mad when we took it away. Her cousin Harley got in on the action too. Who can say no to cake?
Yummy cake from Zoe’s Bakery in Covington. It’s one of our favorites! I can’t believe we have been eating it since my first baby shower 22 years ago……Time flies!! It is really crazy. I can’t wait to share more of this sweet girl as she grows over the years.
