Willow 1 week old {New Orleans Newborn Photographer}

I’ve been booked for the year for about 2 months now and have been turning down sessions left and right because I simply can’t fit them in.  I am also a full time teacher so I take a VERY limited number of sessions.  This allows me to give my clients a unique custom experience.  It’s funny how things happen though.  I definitely believe that things happen for a reason.  My newborn session that was scheduled for Saturday was moved to Sunday so when Mary Beth contacted me I asked if she could come on Saturday.  She said yes.  It wasn’t until I received her questionnaire that I saw just how special this session was.  You see, Willow has three siblings in heaven.  This little girl has been wanted and loved for a very long time.  I wanted to do something special and something different from the rainbow baby set ups you see every where so I got three little white roses to represent each of Mary Beth’s other babies.  And I couldn’t love this set up more.

Momma wanted pink for Willow’s accent color and when she sent me a photo of her and I saw that soft blond hair, I knew it had to be a very soft muted color.  It looked amazing on her….

Willow’s mom brought something special for her session.  It was a little lamb that belonged to her big sister.  I love how sweet she looks snuggling it.

Last but not least, the sweetest family photo on the planet.  Look how happy she is in her momma’s arms.  My mom always told me when babies smiled in their sleep it was because angels were whispering to them <3
