This was one of our very last excursions this summer. It was a very limited summer with lots of outdoor time because much of nothing was open. Jennifer got the most precious dress for her older daughter’s birthday photos this year so we found these precious matching dresses on Ebay for the girls. Her plan was to take Madison to the soda shop in Slidell, but just like everything else, it is still closed from Covid. So some how, Madison’s birthday pictures turned into a trip to The Candy Bank for these two goofballs.
I don’t think they were one bit upset.
Maggie and Harley
This was my first time visiting The Candy Bank in Old Mandeville. It did not disappoint! Precious little building in the heart of old Mandeville filled with nostalgic candies of all kinds. The girls loved filling their bags with all of the different varieties.
I think my favorite part of our morning was all of the fudge we sampled! SO many delicious flavors. I made myself sick and still bought 6 bars for later….and some toffee….
What a great way to end our summer fun with two of our favorite people. And what a great little place for a quick summer session. Thank you Candy Bank for such a fun morning!
