Newborn photography mentoring {Louisiana}

A few weeks ago over Mardi Gras Break I hosted the sweetest photographer for a mentoring session. She came and we spent the day going over the ins and outs of how I do my newborn sessions. From set up, to posing to lighting and editing, we covered it allllll.

This sweet baby girl was our first model of the day for a newborn photography workshop I had back over Mardi Gras Break. We used her to go over tushy up and side lying pose. She was over 9 lbs and perrrrrrfect for tushy up. Her rolls were the BEST. She was such a pretty baby with the best skin! I certainly do miss photographing newborns! Although it feels like it’s been forever since the quarantine started even though it’s just been a few weeks.

Not only was she as sweet as can be but she gave us the biggest and best smiles! Over and over and over too.
