Newborn photography mentoring in Louisiana
This month I had the talented photographer behind Time Traveler Photography come down to spend the day with me for a 1:1 mentoring session where I showed her all of my tips and tricks for newborn prep, posing and editing to help her fine tune her newborn photography skills. We had SO much fun! I only take a hand full of these a year because I am a full time high school teacher, but it is so wonderful when I am able to combine my two favorite things: teaching and newborn photography.
We had two wonderfully sleepy models and lots of great discussion on all aspects of my business. I try to squeeze as much as I possibly can into the day and send my mentees home with workbook of everything we discussed….because you know….teacher here lol.

She looked SO beautiful in purple. Her momma actually had her in a wrap this color. It complements her so well. I could not wait to use this drop form Hello Little Props and headband from Poppy and Cy. And this gorgeous wrap and bonnet set from Maple Cottage Props is an old favorite.
She was so good on the bean bag it was almost a shame to wrap her! But the cozy wrapped photos are my fav <3
We got so much variety out of this sweet girl! She was a perfect model.
