Newborn photography in New Orleans {Maggie Sue}

What a special thing to be able to watch these precious families grow. From the excitement of on new baby to bringing home number two and the joy of watching the older sibling settle into their new role as big brother/sister. I adore this job for so many reasons.

I met Lauren and David at their maternity session when Lauren was expecting Caroline. I remember she looked so beautiful in her red dress against the fall leaves. Then Miss Caroline arrived and you could feel their happiness. I love doing comparison photos of siblings. These two girls looked so similar! This is Caroline:

Annnnnd introducing Maggie Sue:

Maggie Sue 4 weeks

This beauty loved being all wrapped up. I have to say I was a little nervous thinking of a sibling photo. You never know how that is going to go when big sister is 21 months old. But this big sister was the SWEETEST, most gentle, loving sister. I think this is my favorite sibling photo ever. It is just the sweetest.

I thought this deep plum would be the perfect accent this time of year. I love fall jewel tones.

It was just the sweetest thing watching them interact together as a new family of four. Two of the most precious little girls.

Maggie Sue woke up at the end of her session after a long nap. I am so happy too because I got to see that she had the same big beautiful eyes as her big sister. Isn’t she so adorable?! I think those eyes will be blue.

She was so precious. After these photos she got mad at me and just wanted her mama.

What a wonderful way to spend my morning. Now booking 2021 due dates. If you are interested in scheduling a session, fill out my contact form today.
