New Orleans Newborn Photographer {Teagan Day 7)

I couldn’t wait to meet this sweet girl after meeting her momma at her maternity session.  She was absolutely beautiful!

I had these pretty peach-y pink tulips that we used at her session and we wanted to match her maternity photos so we went with peach as an accent color.  I was so excited to see all of Miss Teagan’s dark hair.  She was such a pretty baby!

Teagan Day 7

My plan was just to do a few bean bag poses because I had several props that I wanted to use.  But she was so awesome I ended up doing them all!

She looked soooo pretty in cream.  So sweet and simple.  She started to fuss a little bit so I wrapped her up and she crashed right out.

I even got a little teeny tiny smirk!

This is probably my favorite angle for newborns.  I think it highlights how tiny they are.

As with every little girl session, I try to incorporate fresh flowers….because I just love them.  I had Teresa’s maternity session in mind and I thought these would complement them nicely and they totally remind me of summertime!

After these poses this little lady needed a break.  So she had a snack and we got some adorable awake photos of her and photos of her with mom and dad.  I thought we were done.  She ate again, got dressed and while mom was in the bathroom she fell asleep on dad….so I had to bring them back into the studio for one more shot.  So glad I did.  It was so sweet!

 

So thankful for the opportunity to photograph this family during such a special time in their lives.
