New Orleans Newborn Photographer {Mathilde Day 8}
I have been lucky enough to photography this sweet family since Wyatt was just a baby. He always stood out with his blond hair and icy blue eyes. I have been counting down the days to find out what baby number 2 was going to be, a boy or a girl. I was so excited to find out they were having a precious baby GIRL!
Mathilde Day 8
Her session fell on my birthday. There is no way I would want spend the morning than doing what I absolutely love. She was so beautiful with her fuzzy blond hair and I think she just might have blue eyes like her big brother. She woke up for a bit when they arrived so I wrapped her right up and got to love on her for a bit.
We started off with a gray set-up which I adore. It think the colors in her session are my all time favorite for a baby girl: cream, gray and blue…
You all know by now, my favorite set up at every newborn session is an all cream one. So classic and beautiful. She looked SO pretty!
After my wrapped poses I usually do the bucket pose. She was starting to wake up but I really wanted to have this set up for her momma so I took her out and repositioned her a few times until she settled in to it. I literally only got one shot from this set up. I’m so happy it was a keeper because I love it!
She woke up for a little bit so I had a chance to chat with her and get some awake photos before I tried to get her back to sleep. She was so curious just looking around at everything. I love her little expressions.
I cannot believe how big Wyatt is getting. He was just so sweet with his little sister and so good for his photo with her. I was so proud of him!
Last but not least, photos of this sweet family of four. Mathilde was getting hungry during the family photos and started sucking her thumb. It was the sweetest thing! I think everyone in that room thought so too, even Wyatt.
It’s funny how children all react to new siblings. Sometimes I have a hard time getting them close to the baby or they are very jealous when momma holds baby and not them. Wyatt was just the sweetest. Never acting out of jealousy. Always kind and gentle. And look at the look of adoration he is giving his sweet momma while she holds his new sister. Melts my heart.
So lucky to be a part of such special memories of these growing families.
