This precious boy came for his newborn session at just 5 days old and was FULL of smiles!! He would scrunch up and give the biggest grins! It was so sweet! His momma loved my bear bonnets from Heartstrings so I had to use a few of them. They were so adorable on him!

I live finding treasures all over the world for my newborn sessions. This blanket was from Iceland and it was just perfect.
Henrik loved being swaddled nice and cozy so we got through wrapped set ups pretty quickly. He was so relaxed and didn’t fight me with curling up his fingers like most newborns do.
At first his momma wanted all neutrals but requested a bear lovie….well my sweet 5 year old loves to make her own newborn set-ups for her babies and steal them. I have no idea what she did with my grey one so I asked Sarah if we could do blue. I love how it came out! He looked so sweet in blue.
Everyone in a while, I’m super lucky and I will get a newborn smile during parent photos. I think he was super happy to be with mom and dad because he gave the biggest grin of the day! It was so precious and made for the sweetest family photo.
So grateful for the opportunity to capture such a sweet time in my clients lives. I love photographing newborns so much! It is my therapy!
