New Orleans Newborn Photographer {Emersyn Day 16}
This precious baby girl’s grandfather contacted me a few weeks ago wanting to surprise his daughter with a newborn session with me. I could not think of a sweeter gift and was absolutely going to fit her in! She was already approaching two weeks old when he contacted me but still as tiny and sleepy as can be.

One of the first things I noticed when her momma lifted the blanket on her carseat was her beautiful lips and long eyelashes. What a beauty!
She has the prettiest strawberry blond hair. I wasn’t planning on using this teal color but when her mom set me a picture of her and I saw her hair color and pretty fair skin I knew I had to.
It was so pretty on her! I always like to incorporate fresh flowers into my sessions. I found these beautiful hydrangeas and thought they complemented her dainty features.
She was perfectly content all wrapped up and when I unwrapped her she woke up just long enough for me to see those pretty eyes.
But it was short lived….
Emersyn is lucky to have such a sweet big brother who loves her so much. He was SO good! He gave me the biggest smiles and his little sister lots of kisses.
It’s funny how babies know when their momma’s have them. She gave a big ole grin the second she was placed in her mom’s arms.
This is just the sweetest little family and I am so grateful for the opportunity to photograph them during such a special time.
