New Orleans Newborn Photographer {Camilla 2 months old}

When Camilla’s mom, Leena, contacted me about a newborn session with her 7 week old, I thought it would be a challenge. Newborn sessions are done usually before baby is 2 months old. She was still tiny. Just a bit over 8 lbs. I sent Leena my newborn prep instructions, set up as I would for a newborn and hoped for the best. Boy did this sweet girl prove me wrong. Not only is she one of the most beautiful babies ever, but she slept like a champ! She showed those newbies how it’s done!

I was lucky to catch a few of her sweet little smirks. She looked soooo pretty in purple!

I alway shave to do at least one all cream set up. They are my favorites.

Leena really loved this plum color in photos from my gallery. I think this was the perfect color choice for her. And we got another sweet little smirk!

I know her momma really wanted the bucket pose, which is challenging even with newborns. I was gonna give it a try really not expecting her to do it. Again she proved me wrong! Not only did she stay comfortably asleep, but stayed in the pose long enough so that I could get a few shots of different variety. These are my favorites.
