New Orleans Maternity Photographer {Yahaira}

Yahaira first reached out to me with a vision in mind for her maternity session. She had ideas of gowns that she loved and wanted a field of flowers. We were just past the springtime flowers but I had just purchased bunch of knockout roses and drift roses that I was landscaping the studio with. Both are great low maintenance varieties that have blooming cycles all summer long. I’ve always wanted a rose garden and with me not being at the studio all week during the school year these are perfect low maintenance roses. They were still in the pots and the grass was tall so I moved them into the grass and created a field of roses for her. Hey us photographers improvise when we have to! In the end, I think it turned out so sweet!

Yahaira’s Maternity Session

Her two boys, Jesus and Thiago were just as sweet as can be. Thiago had us all laughing with his sweet little expressions. He kept running away from us. I love this time of year when everything is so green and beautiful. Yahaira looked so beautiful in her gown and the boys so charming in their suits. Last stop was by my favorite tree. It is such a fun branch for the brave kids who love to climb.
