I feel like I’ve been talking to this sweet momma forever trying to plan a date for her session! Her husband is living in Texas right now finishing his PhD so we were working around his schedule. I had Mardi Gras week off from teaching and her husband was in town so it was a perfect opportunity to do their session. Well leave it to Louisiana’s crazy weather….we had a downpour of rain for days! The day of her session it was cloudy and not raining but the park was completely under water. This sweet momma literally trucked through maybe 3 inches of slop to get to different locations in the park. And we had crawfish mounds everywhere! So editing was fun lol. But I adore how they came out. Despite all of the obstacles. She looked so pretty!

They were the sweetest couple! She kicked off her shoes and was such a trooper standing in the mud!
I think we can totally call this that pregnancy glow! And look how she’s looking at him! So sweet.
Because it got so quickly we had to move towards the lake for some light. I’m glad we did because I got to use spots that I would’ve never used before.
