New Orleans Maternity Photographer {Ashley}

This session has been on my calendar for quite some time. Of course, in typical Louisiana fashion, as the session date approached us and the weather forecast declined. It showed 60% chance of rain, cold, and cloudy. It sounded awful. We decided to go ahead with the session because Ashley had a make up appointment that required advance notice for cancelation. The plan was to adjust the time as needed. I am so glad we decided to move forward with the session because it was just about the prettiest weekend we have had all year. The air was cool but not cold, the ground was damp from the rain earlier that week but not saturated, and the clouds opened up to give us the most beautiful sunset.

Ashley Maternity Session

Her two girls were absolute adorable and so good for the session. So much personality and so different from each other! Ashley made these flower crowns for all of them to wear. They turned out so sweet!

We went to all of my favorite places in the park. It’s funny how they change throughout the year. This time of year, I love how the sun sets behind this tree.

She looked absolutely amazing. The sunset was to die for and the funny thing is, bu the time the light is the prettiest there are very few photographers in the park.
