New Orleans Baby Photographer {Leo 7 months}

This precious family was moving to St. Louis literally the week after their session. Leo was born in Louisiana so they wanted to commemorate his recent milestones under the big oaks. We decided on Fontainebleau State Park in Mandeville LA because of the beautiful larger than life oak trees covered in Spanish moss. It is such a dreamy session especially for those not from here. The bottom of the trees makes for the best bench to sit on and when the breeze moves the moss in the trees it is so magical! The only downside is how wet it gets after even a little bit of rain. And in Louisiana it pretty much rains every afternoon. I love how bright and cheerful their outfits were because it totally matched their personalities. Leo was all smiles until the very end when he was over me lol.

The best part about the park…..well second to the oaks….are the amazing sunsets. I adore how it lights up the moss and makes the most beautiful glow-y background. Even when it’s cloudy the light trickles through the trees and it is so beautiful. Sometimes, if you are lucky, you will see bunnies hopping around and deer eating grass nearby. This evening the sunset was so pretty. Perfectly golden especially when you have the most adorable subject with the sweetest red hair.

As expected with this age….straight to the mouth lol. Leo must be getting new teeth. Such a sweet little session. I love this age so much. Now booking fall sessions. If you are interested fill out my contact form here.
