I remember when my oldest daughter was born my grandmother told me just wait for 6 months. It was her favorite age. I had no idea what I was in store for, but when 6 months rolled around I knew. By then their little personalities are in full bloom and you get the sweetest big ole gummy grins with a sprinkling of teeny tiny baby teeth. They are just learning to sit up so they can explore the world from a whole new view….and they have the most amazing belly laughs at just about anything. They are not yet mobile so aren’t getting into things and still smell oh so sweet. It really is the best age.
I was super excited to meet Easton and his sweet momma. His session was held at Fontainebleau State Park in Mandeville. I have sessions there pretty much every week but rarely in the mornings so I got there just a bit early to scope out a few places. The light is totally different in the morning. Luckily with a baby, you don’t need much space at all and we found some beautiful greenery to sit him by.
Easton 6 months
This was the first time I took this little bed outside and used it for a sitter session. I’m in love!
He has the biggest and best smile….
And only eyes for his momma! I asked her to stand close to him so I could try to get good eye contact….nope lol! He just wanted his mom and had the biggest smiles when she picked him up.
Can’t wait to meet the rest of this sweet family in the fall!
