Mandeville Newborn Photographer {Mary one week}

This was SUCH a special session!  I had the honor of photographing sweet Evelyn as a newborn in 2015.  I adored her session and how soft and feminine it was.  And her mother was absolutely breathtaking! Evelyn was the sweetest newborn and I remember getting though lots of set ups with her.  Two years later and sweet Mary was no different.  A perfect little model.  We kept the tones of her session similar to her big sisters with lots of cream and neutrals with a hint of blush.  It came out so sweet.

To think I *almost* didn’t use this backdrop because I thought it might be too bright for what I was going for.  I’m soooo glad I decided to because it goes beautifully with her gallery!

I can’t believe how much Miss Evelyn grew in just two short years!  She came by at the end of the session for photos with her sister.  She was a bit hesitant at first and nervous around the strange lady with the big black camera.  We tried a few different poses and she wasn’t comfortable so I thought let’s try a different one.  She was able to hold her baby all by herself!  I’m so glad the other more traditional poses didn’t work out because this is absolutely precious and a new favorite for sure!  Such a good big sister!

My favorite photo from Evelyn’s session was one with her mother.  Andrea looked so beautiful with her hair draped over her baby.  I think there is something about putting that newborn in the arms of the mother who has carried them and longed for them for nine months.  They just radiate happiness.

By the time we did family photos Evelyn was as happy as can be.  It may have taken a little game of hide the felted heart……

So grateful these guys chose me as their newborn photographer for their precious babies!  I am certainly blessed.
