Madisonville newborn session
How lucky am I to have had the honor of photographing all THREE of these adorable children as newborns. I remember Carson’s newborn session like it was yesterday! He was so tiny. And sweet Addie was a little bit older for hers at 6 weeks old. I remember we used so many beautiful flowers and she slept so well.
I have so many favorite photos from this family over the years. From maternity sessions at sunset to milestone sessions with big trucks. It’s been wonderful watching them grow.
Fast forward and here we are with baby number 3. Their recent Covington maternity session was so bright and fun. Allison wore the most precious little orange dress and we had a bunch of pretty orange flowers. It was adorable!
I was so excited too, Emerson the newest member of this family and she did not disappoint. She was so precious with fair skin and wispy hair. She slept so well and we got lots of different set ups with her.
In my planning appointment we discuss not only colors for the session but if there are any specific poses the family wants. This momma wanted froggy pose because we got it with the other two. She has them displayed in the hallway by their rooms. Guess who wanted nothing to do with this pose lol.
So the day of her session we got everything else and when they came back for the ordering appointment I tried again and she went right into it. Sometimes a different day is all that you need.
Emerson’s Newborn Session
Once she was fed and wrapped up I got a few smiles from her. Here are just a few. There were so many!
Posing a newborn is definitely up there on my list of favorite things to do. But I also love working with older siblings. I love their individual personalities and especially love seeing them come into their new role as big brother or big sister.
Look how proud these two are!
