One of the best parts about this job is watching families grow. I met Allison and Jared two years ago when their first baby, Carson, was born. My goodness does time fly. And it wasn’t that long ago we did Allison’s maternity session. Here we are with baby number 2 and it’s a GIRL!
Addie Day 10
Addie was born at the end of April and came to me at her newborn session at just 10 days old. Her dad brought her because mom came down with a fever. Can you imagine not feeling well after giving birth? Miss Addie did so well and slept like a champ.
I was so excited about these gorgeous flowers that I found and couldn’t wait to use them. We did two set ups with them. I don’t know which I love more!
She looked so pretty in just about everything but I always love simple best…
Of course with a baby girl after two years of boy mom life I had to do some pink.

It was a good thing Dad brought Addie for her newborn photos at 10 days old. The plan was for them to come back for sibling and family photos. Well after a few reschedules they made it back when Addie was 6 weeks old. She was still SO tiny! She was close to the size that Carson was at his newborn session.

We had to do a little bribing to get Carson close to his sister. He wanted nothing but his momma and some wooden cars I have. I love this out take so much I had to include it!
Look at her! 6 weeks old and can still snuggle up in her mommas arms like a newborn…
So grateful these guys chose me as their photographer 2 years ago! Love watching them grow as a family.
