Madisonville LA Family Photographer {Ella 1 year}
You know sometimes I see other photographers complaining about clients that get upset with them for having to reschedule because of the weather…..because photographer’s can totally control when it rains, right?! I am so fortunate to have never experienced that. Hands down I have the best clients. This summer we had sooooo much rain that some sessions were rescheduled up to 5 times. And I received not one complaint.
Molly was no different. We had initially planned Miss Ella’s first birthday session last week but Hurricane Harvey decided to come instead. Even though we were spared and didn’t receive lots of rain, it was gloomy and I wanted a beautiful sunset for such a special occasion. Then we almost had to reschedule again because poor Ella was such. Luckily, she was better by Monday and we went ahead with her session. I think everything worked out just fine. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect and Miss Ella couldn’t have been sweeter.

See, wasn’t waiting for this gorgeous sunset worth it?? I’m obsessed. When I was a graduate student at LSUHSC in New Orleans and would have to drive home on the causeway at sunset I remember being so frustrated that I would be missing the opportunity to photograph someone with such beautiful light. Nothing compares. It’s so funny, sometimes the park where I shoot will be full of photographers when I arrive but then they are all gone by this time. I’m thinking you are missing the best part!!

This sweet Dad brought his guitar to serenade his ladies with at the end of their session. It couldn’t have been a sweeter moment. Miss Ella loved the music!
