You know, when I decided to pursue being a professional photographer it was for my love (obsession really) of taking pictures.  I thought it would give me unlimited subjects to use as a creative outlet.  I never once thought about the people I would meet and the friendships I would make.  But here I am four years later feeling beyond blessed, not only for the ability do what I love, but for the wonderful people this journey has brought into my life.  I am so grateful for my clients who are kind and thoughtful and genuine.  Ashley is no exception.  I was lucky to photograph Ashley for maternity pictures at Fontainebleau State Park a few weeks ago.  It is so nice to meet a family before baby arrives so by the time of the newborn session they know me and my quirkiness and what to expect.  With three big brothers and sisters at home anxious to meet this baby, they decided to just do couple photos for her maternity session.  It was nice that Ashley and her hubby took the evening to themselves to enjoy each other and celebrate their upcoming arrival.  You can see more of Ashley’s beautiful session here.  She was just beautiful.  Sweet Madison made her big debut on May 16th and came to me at just 5 days old……..with the MOST beautiful head of hair!! OMG, so silky and soft and fluffy and beautiful.  And smelled just as delicious as you can imagine new baby hair would smell.

Seriously beautiful.  She looked so beautiful in blush which matched her momma’s maternity gown.   She was such a heavy sleeper and so easy to pose.  We got so many sweet set ups.

Ashley sent me a message before her session asking if we could try a hanging baby pose, which I have never tried before.  It was HARD! LOL!  But luckily I had a great assistant.  And I am glad she pushed me out of my comfort zone because I love the way it turned out!
