Luke 1 year {Ponchatoula Baby Photographer}
One of my favorite things of being a photographer is watching my tiny newborns reach their one year milestone. Seeing how there little personalities develop is so much fun. I can often predict how they will be based on their temperament at their newborn session.
Luke was such a calm newborn. He slept through the entire two hours with out a peep! He was 5 lbs of baby perfection. Click here to see more of Lukes newborn session.
Well Luke did what babies do best and he grew. He grew and grew into the sweetest six month old. I love doing comparisons. It is amazing how much they grow and change and learn in just six short months.
Just as I predicted the day of his newborn session….he was going to have the sweetest little personality and he certainly does.
After what felt like a blink of an eye, Brandie was messaging me for his 12 month photos. For newborn, 3 and 6 month milestones we were inside so this was our first milestone outside! That is exciting for me because I am a nature love and adore the colors of our world in winter. Everything is a beautiful shad of brown and the sunsets are amazing. As a neutral loving, light chasing photographer I am in heaven this time of year 🙂
One Year
The day actually started off cold and rainy. I was so disappointed because we already rescheduled once but I really wanted a beautiful sunset for Luke’s big one year milestone. I am a teacher and was in class all day so I didn’t notice that the sun actually came out. Brandie said let’s go forward with the session and I’m so glad she did because the evening light was beyond perfect. And as always, Luke was in the best mood!

Luke has the prettiest eyes. And even though this is a serious photo I love it so much. It shows just how handsome this little guy is.
Brandie, Parker and Luke I am so blessed to have been a part of Luke’s first year. I can’t wait until those wildflowers start blooming!
