Kaito was on my calendar for February, but he decided he had other plans.  We had his session when he was a teeny tiny 4 days old so his dad could be there.  He was so little!  He stayed curled up tight and loved being swaddled.  He did not want to stretch out for bean bag poses so I did lots of cuddly shots of him all wrapped up.  He had the most gorgeous black hair…

Isn’t that the sweetest little profile.  Mom wanted cream and grey for his session which I adore, but when I saw him I thought the camel color would be beautiful.  I’m so glad I decided to try it.

You can see with these poses especially he did NOT want to stretch those legs or put his elbows together!  But I never force a baby into a position they don’t like.  This is where he was most comfortable.   He was so used to being curled up tight for 9 mths!

Kaito took a break to eat and so I wrapped him snug so he would go back to sleep.  Its funny how the simple outtake shots turn out to be my favorite.

Could his momma be any more beautiful?  I’m always amazed by how mothers instantly glow when I place their babe in their arms.
