Jayde 1 week {New Orleans Newborn Photographer}

It’s so nice when I get to do a mother’s maternity session before her newborn’s session.  For one thing you get to meet the sweet parents that will be bringing you their baby, but I also love trying to make them cohesive so that the images can be displayed together as a story.  I did Casey’s maternity session back in October and from that moment I was anxiously awaiting the email that baby Jayde had arrived.  Isn’t it funny how as newborn photographers we are added to the list of family members waiting for the new baby’s arrival.  Casey’s maternity session was amazing.  It couldn’t be more beautiful.  The setting was the gorgeous Fontainebleau State Park in Mandeville LA and she was absolutely stunning in her gown.  Click on the image below to see more of this amazing session.

First of all…..the brought me the most precious little bundle.  Jayde has the most amazing hair and her skin was divine.  I knew she was going to be gorgeous when I met her big sister, Maya, at her mommas maternity session.   I love love love every single image in this session.  Here are a few of my favorites.  I  used to always start with potato sac first but have become slightly obsessed with fluff from Oh so Fleeting and have been starting every session with that… and oh my goodness…

Miss Maya couldn’t be any sweeter.  I adore hearing her talk and listen to all of the things she gets so excited about. She is the cutest little thing.  At the end of the session, Harley came out to play with her.  It was so much fun watching Harley interact with her.  They were too sweet together.

Last but not least, my favorites of every session….the family shots.   Even got another little smirk when Daddy was holding her.
