Jacob Day 6 {New Orleans LA newborn photographer}
It is so funny how a newborn, even just a few days old, already has a little personality developing. Some are very calm and relaxed. Some don’t like certain poses. Some like to curl their fingers up tightly. And some are very curious and just want to look around at the world around them. Jacob was the that type. He was so curious! He would stare at me and furrow his brow and look around and give long lazy blinks. So that’s when I would snap my camera lol. I think we got some pretty great blinks 🙂
This little guy came to see me for his first photo shoot at just 6 days old. He was as cute as button and absolutely loved being wrapped up snug as a bug. So that is how I kept him for most of his session. I couldn’t decide what accent color to use for his session. I went back and forth between dark blue and this robin’s egg blue. In the end, I went with this. I’m so glad I did! I love how it looks.
Y’all know I’m a lover of neutrals. Classic never goes out of style.
This was a hard pose to get because he was not sleepy at all. He woke up right after for a snack. But the one shot I did get is so adorable!
I know all his sweet momma wanted was a good picture of her two boys. Graham, who is 3, did not want anything to do with taking a picture with his baby brother at first. But he slowly warmed up and by the end of the session he was all smiles.
The best moment of a newborn session is when I place the baby in their mom’s arms. The look on the mother’s face is priceless. So in love.
I love how Graham is peeking over at his baby brother. I know they will be the best of friends in the years to come.
