Henry 1 year {Mandeville Family Photographer}
I love this session, not only because of the crazy adorable family but the little challenges it presented.
Challenge #1:
You know all photographers love evening sessions….”the light is better”. Yes, I do love love the dreamy glow of a sunset or the nice soft box of an overcast day but you can definitely make full sun sessions work too. We had to schedule this session early because Dad works nights. So this was mid afternoon.
Challenge #2:
My client got to the location I told her to go to and I totally forgot about the Madisonville Wooden Boat Festival and their were people and cars EVERYWHERE! So we went to Fairview State Park. I typically try to avoid our beautiful state parks because there are usually 100’s of other photographers there (ok maybe a little exaggeration). But I think because of the time of day, no one was there and we had the park to ourselves. When Julie walked up to me holding Henry….Oh my goodness…..that hair….that smile….that outfit….he could not be any cuter!
Maybe because I’m a mom and I cherish images with my girls or maybe because I wish I had more pictures of me with my own mother….but photos with mom’s with their babies are a MUST and my absolute favorites from a session. Always. And how gorgeous is she??? And the love Henry has for her??
Todd came separately and when he arrived Henry was so happy to see him!
These guys look like they are straight out of a magazine….
As stylish as Henry was, he had a wardrobe change. Who says they don’t have cute clothes for boys???
All boys of pretty much all ages love to play in dirt. Henry was no exception and loved the hay! Such a fun afternoon. Thank you so much Julie for the honor of photographing your beautiful family!
