I always enjoy sessions with this sweet family. My first one was when Sawyer was just a month old. It was chilly and he was so teeny tiny dressed up in the cutest little snuggly plaid shirt! One of my favorite photos is a family picture of the three of them and he is snuggled up to his momma and the sun was warm and glowing behind them. He is definitely much more active than that sweet newborn! This time around he showed off how much he LOVED to climb! Well it was a good thing we tried out a new (quite amazing) location with big beautiful Louisiana oaks for him to climb.
He wasted no time!
I’m obsessed with this tree. It’s the perfect height for little people to hop in and is covered with beautiful moss and ferns. There are some prickly vines leading up to it but good thing we had dad with us to lift him over them. Sawyer has the best curls! I know if I were his momma, I would have a hard time cutting them too. You know it will completely change the way he looks.

I love this age when all they want to do is play. They are much too busy for photos. So playing is what we do.
This little monkey was so excited when his dad took him to climb up the big oak. And my photographer heart is in love with the big beautiful branches in the background.
You know I’m a sucker for photos with just Mom and Dad. I think they are important to have. I think Jesse was telling her she was sweating more than him lol!
I think this one is my favorite. Sweet snuggles with her favorite guys. They love her so much 🙂
